It is safe to say that I never want to move ever again!

The birthday boy had a great time, even though he was sick. What is it with my kids that they always come down with something before a big event! I think he was a bit overwhelmed with all the people, and I was too busy entertaining the older kids and only cuddled him when we blew out the candle on his cake and unwrapped his presents.  He received lots of great gifts which his big brother has broken in already! I'm still recovering - thank goodness they only turn 1 once!

Oh, and the bubble machine was a huge success, I would highly recommend one at your next kids event!

I can't believe it was a year ago that we welcomed him into our lives. Turning one is so bittersweet. I can't believe my baby has arrived at toddlerhood! He still has cute squishy arms and adorable chubby legs, but that beautiful baby smell has disappeared.  It has been replaced with a cheeky sense of humour (just like his brother!) beautiful smiles and a personality all of his own.

This weekend is the big party. I  decided to go with a blue/green bubble dot theme! I have hired a bubble machine (cool!) and made bunting. Let the baking begin! 

There is some exciting news that I have neglected to write about, my little 'Lucky the Dog' has been published!

I'm such a proud softie maker! Look at him, right there on the front cover! You can also catch up with him and his softie friends at Softies Central.

Can you also believe that the second littlemunki Master 'B' will be turning one in just over a week! This time last year I was busy preparing the nursery! The birthday preparations have been going full steam ahead, we are having a bubble theme with the colours being a limey green and a deep blue. The invites are made, all I have to do is remember to post them! The goodie bags/boxes have all been labeled and stuffed with gifts, and the party food is all planned. I guess the next step is to think about the cake.....I'm really good at the thinking part, not to good at the rest!

You can always count on kids! - we were at the shops the other week and a man went by in his electric wheelchair, the littlemunki pipes up and remarks in his loudest voice 'that looks like fun Mum!' Ahh the innocence!

It rained practically all last night. I'd almost forgotten what it was like to fall asleep listening to the sound of the rain echoing on a tin roof - wonderful! There has been good news that it is even falling in the dams - not enough to break the drought, but its a start.

The poor littlemunki's have been sick  again! This time with middle ear infections, fevers and coughs and snot! Thankfully we are all on the mend. The big one was well enough to go to daycare day - hooray!! (I do love him...honest!)

My sewing table, has been somewhat taken over by paper and my new found interest in ATC's, you can see some here.

I will have to clear off the table top in participation for the impending sewing of another bag, for a friend that has put her order in before she heads off overseas on holiday, in 3 weeks time!

There is something else that has been occupying my attention, but that will have to wait till much later....no not pregnant!

I'm off to make more ATC's - addictive little things!

I met these two lovely ladies for morning tea in the park the other week (Tsk Tsk, Red Felt Flower) it was a lovely morning, and my two littlemunki's are now the proud owners of these..

I absolutely love them, thank you so much!

And while speaking of these creative people I can't help but add my budding little resident artist....

I was so, so proud!

I made a few more bunnies before Easter and all have made it to their new homes. Oscar and Ophelia went to live here...lucky bunnies!

I have used every last scrap of linen, which means another trip to Ikea.........bummer!

A friend of mine moved to the UK - lucky cow! and has taken up knitting ( I  put my order in for a scarf!) So I thought she would be in need of a knitting bag, and since it was her birthday last week I decided to make her one. Her flatmate said it was way to nice to be a knitting bag and should be used everyday - thanks for the compliment!

I have also signed up for a softie swap, so I am in the midst of sewing up a cousin for Pippy. I've been partnered with a lady in Alaska - how cool is that! Do you think she would take delivery of a 2 and half year old too?!
