What is it with my kids that they always come down with something before a big event! I think he was a bit overwhelmed with all the people, and I was too busy entertaining the older kids and only cuddled him when we blew out the candle on his cake and unwrapped his presents.&nbsp; He received lots of great gifts which his big brother has broken in already! Turning one is so bittersweet. I can't believe my baby has arrived at toddlerhood! He still has cute squishy arms and adorable chubby legs, but that beautiful baby smell has&nbsp;disappeared.&nbsp; It has been replaced with a cheeky sense of humour (just like his brother!) beautiful smiles and a personality all of his own.</p><p><span class="full-image-float-none"><img style="width: 425px; height: 283px" alt="Blake%201.jpg" src="http://littlemunki.squarespace.com/storage/Blake%201.jpg" /></span></p><p>This weekend is the big party. I&nbsp; decided to go with a blue/green bubble dot theme! Look at him, right there on the front cover! You can also catch up with him and his softie friends at <a href="http://softiescentral.typepad.com/" target="_blank">Softies Central</a>. </p><p>Can you also believe that the second littlemunki Master 'B' will be turning one in just over a week! This time last year I was busy preparing the nursery! The birthday preparations have been going full steam ahead, we are having a bubble theme with the colours being a limey green and a deep blue. The invites are made, all I have to do is remember to post them! The goodie bags/boxes have all been labeled and stuffed with gifts, and the party food is all planned. I guess the next step is to think about the cake.....I'm really good at the thinking part, not to good at the rest!</p><p>You can always count on kids! - we were at the shops the other week and a man went by in his electric wheelchair, the littlemunki pipes up and remarks in his loudest voice 'that looks like fun Mum!' I'd almost forgotten what it was like to fall asleep listening to the sound of the rain echoing on a tin roof - wonderful! There has been good news that it is even falling in the dams - not enough to break the drought, but its a start.</p><p>The poor littlemunki's have been sick&nbsp; again! This time with middle ear infections, fevers and coughs and snot! Thankfully we are all on the mend. The big one was well enough to go to daycare day - hooray!! I've been at home with two little snot monsters! Poor kids, and there isn't alot you can do for them. The big littlemunki ooo'ed and ahhh'ed in excitement when he discovered that the Easter bunny had dropped Easter eggs around the backyard and up the back stairs - so cute! Other then the odd tantrum and exerting one's little personality, and telling mummy 'stay here mummy' as we venture into another room to wreak havoc and mischief of one kind or another - the almost 3 age is really fun. He is so animated and cheeky to boot! and (when I picked him at daycare yesterday) was playing catch and kiss....should I be worried!</p><p>I made a&nbsp;few more bunnies before Easter and all have made it to their new homes. <P>A friend of mine moved to the UK - lucky cow! and has taken up knitting ( I&nbsp; put my order in for a scarf!) So I thought she would be in need of a knitting bag, and since it was her birthday last week I decided to make her one. Her flatmate said it was way to nice to be a knitting bag and should be used everyday - thanks for the compliment!</P>
